The Mills Community House has a functional and comfortable Meeting Space in the lower level. This space is available for rent to community members, and has accommodated open houses, receptions, graduation parties, and family reunions. A full commercial kitchen with new, high-capacity appliances along with tables, chairs and dishes are available on-site.

MCH is centrally located in Benzie County on highways U.S. 31 and M-115. The building meets accessibility requirements as prescribed by the American Disability Act (ADA) and has adequate off-street parking. The grounds are complemented by a neighboring public park that includes tennis courts, softball diamonds and playgrounds, and, in winter, a well-maintained ice rink, lighted at night.



Meeting Space Rental/Pricing Information
  • Tables (six- and eight-foot) and chairs (folding metal or molded plastic) are available on site.
  • Room will seat 125 - 150 for meeting or lecture; approximately 90 - 100 at tables.
  • Kitchen has commercial range, domestic refrigerator, excellent counter and work space and a direct entrance/exit.
  Rates:
  • One day rental - $125
    Space must be clean and ready for use by 9 a.m. day following use.
  • Afternoon (noon to 5 p.m) or evening (after 5 p.m.); use of kitchen for snacks and beverages only, no cooking - $60
  • Additional cost for use of on-site dishes and flatware - $25
Terms:
  • Rental costs are based on full set-up and clean-up by renter.
  • Set-up and clean-up are available through Mills at a reasonable rate.
  • Refundable $100 deposit to cover damage and/or non-cleanup is required.
  • Reduced rents are available to qualified non-profit organizations.
  • Contract is required and signed in advance.
